GABRIELA EQUIZ

Grew up in a family of scholars, with parents who are professionals in Political Science and Law.   However, at the same time, Gaby has been involved in the performing arts for almost her entire life.   At the early age of 4, Gaby was introduced to ballet and flamenco.   Her journey from there on has ultimately led to a broad and star-studded career with both commercial and competitive credits.

In 2005, Gaby founded the Alma Latina Performing Arts School in Tijuana, Mexico.  Since its inception, Alma Latina has grown to become the world’s most awarded Latin Dance company.

Gaby has the distinct honor of being included in the Tijuana Walk Of Fame, and continues to be an in demand world traveler attending events as a Teacher, Coach, Presenter, and Judge.

Gaby has developed an app geared for Latin Dance with the mission of connecting dancers,  and to support dance entrepreneurship around the world . In addition, Gaby has developed a platform www.DanceDrills.com to speed up the exchange of dance knowledge, sharing exercises and technique corrections in videos.
